A special thing happens when:
- Children are given the agency to make their own design decisions.
- That design decision is much different than the adult's original expectations.
- Those expectations turn out to be far less inferior to the project as it's currently unfolding.
A special thing happens when...
- You give kids the agency to create a project that they can interact with in real ways.
- You get to witness the nervousness and joy on a kid's face when they safety test a project for the first time.
A special thing happens when...
- The adults' only jobs are to hold the project while everyone else drills and screws and clamps pieces in place.
