TSO - H - Day 3 - Knives and Animals

To start off another exciting day, a bird flies into the conference center, and so naturally, we try to catch it. Some extreme broom stacking was involved.

We eat breakfast and start the walk up to the build site.

Up at the build site, the teams resume work on their carts and zip line. Team Panda starts work on a platform that the zip line will end up on.

In the afternoon, we go to visit the animals of Elkus Ranch.

We head back down for dinner, and later, knife training! Campers learn the 5 knife rules before receiving one of their own.

The 5 Rules of Knife Use:

1. Blood bubble.

3. Lock your knife.

4. Cut away from yourself.

5. Keep your knife sharp.

Back at the conference center, we play games and wind down.

After working today, we are getting ever closer to being able to test our carts when we build next on Thursday. We get ready for lights out, and prepare for beach day tomorrow which will allow us to take our minds off of the project.
