Session E - Day 5 - Children Of The Sea and The Terrible Tinkertomb
Today was beach day! We put down our drills, saws, blowtorches, and windmills and headed off to the beach for a day of jumping off of small sandstone cliffs, freezing salty water, and band aids (nothing serious. promise.)
We started off our day with some high shutter speed jumping photography, which soon became a whole group activity!
After an hour of jumping, doing tricks in the air, and creating a jump squad called "The Smooth Guys," we took a Craisin break...
...we headed off to the tide pools for some exploration of sea anemonemonemonemones (Finding Nemo reference), and whatever else we could find!
We founds tons of little crabs, big crabs, sea snails, sea anemones, and even large spots in the tide pool that were big enough to swim in!
After we were done in the tide pool area, we headed on back to our area and started playing a game that was brand new to Tinkering School. The game is called, "Everyone Bury Max."
And just moments later, he was absolutely buried, sunglasses on of course.
But soon after Max was buried, he fell asleep. Which left everyone with no collaborator to pile sand on top of... thus, the Tinkertomb was born.
Once the Tinkertomb had grown to an almost unimaginable size, we decided to bring it in for one last jump off of the cliffs, and then head back to camp for some dinner, showers, and games of closely monitored truth or dare.
Tomorrow, it is back to another day of hard work. But with a break from the projects, there is no doubt that the fresh minds will lead to success in the shop. But for now, goodnight.
