Tuesday Crane - Week 9
In the second to last week of Tinkering School afterschool. We gathered for opening circle as usual to outline the final detail for the crane project.
Louis took on the task of finishing the spool feature of the tower by using the drill press to drill a hole into the rod.
Everyone else worked on the fine details of the crane tower. Kaya and Q wanted to figure out how they could lift up an egg with the crane. Their solution was to tape magnets into a bucket filled with yarn, then tape more magnet onto the egg. Scarlett and a few others decorated the container that will hold the water-filled bucket.
