THURSDAY TINKERING SCHOOL - WEEK 6!!!!
At the beginning of the day we found out from a round of thumb-o-meters that the rainy day had brought some folks down..
But despite the subtle gloom, the tinkerers jumped back into the projects and split once more into a a HEAD group and NOSE group! ..continuing the portions be worked on last week..
THE MASSIVE HEAD, now secured and ready to be paneled...
..had the crew at the bandsaw, slicing up plywood they'd measured to fit the project.
Simultaneously, the nose crew drilled away at the pieces they'd cut last week to create the quite large, and sturdy, rectangular nose for our MR. POTATO HEAD..
As the day went on.. it was astonishing how hard work the tinkerers did, how much fun they had, and how focused they were, no matter what anybody had said about being down on a rainy day!!
On a cold and quiet Thursday, the Tinkering Shop was hot and bustling, as everyone put their all into continuing our enormous face of a project!
