Dessert World! - Day 3 - Week 3 (Mark Day School)

Our cheerful troop of tinkerers spent the entire day building…and building..testing..decorating..and building some more! Aydin introduced a few interested students to trigonometry as they figured out the angles and lengths for the roof trusses, Abby facilitated testing and decorating of the banana-split boat, and sometimes collaborators felt less than helpful as everyone just got down to the business of building. We like feeling like we’re not needed, because it means the tinkerers are fully connected to the project and driving it forward themselves. Today felt like that!

Tomorrow will be our last full day of designing and building. We’ll start getting realistic about what we can and cannot accomplish, and we’ll all feel the pressure and anticipation that comes with having our Friday unveiling on the horizon!
