After School Collaborator

Tinkering School After School is looking for that rare breed of collaborator/maker/builder/listener/explorer to join our team this summer. Our Collaborators can curate and shape an environment that tilts us all towards engagement, but follows a child’s lead as they explore that environment.  

Business Manager

The Institute for Applied Tinkering is seeking to fill a Business Manager role to join the team of educators and administrators at its location in San Francisco, CA. The manager will hold oversight and responsibility for finance and key administrative functions, including non-profit 501c3 compliance, for both programs: Brightworks School (K-12) and Tinkering School (workshops/camps).  

This is an opportunity for a highly motivated person to directly impact the growth of an innovative and radical model of education. You will be at the front lines of steering the ship—managing through process, numbers and people skills. Help us continue to drive efficiency in our operations, make better budget-based decisions and keep all of our administrative ducks in a row across programs, contracts and opportunities. You will be sitting at the leadership table working side-by-side with our founder, our board and our tenured leadership staff.
