Reverse Engineering: Last Day of Solar Cars

Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend, so this is the last time our 4-5:30pm class would have enough sunlight to test solar-powered cars as we worked on them.

Kai holds his solar car (yes, those are tiny wooden wheels!) before testing. The car would go, but only with a starting nudge.

Some of use had the satisfaction of actually testing cars, while others scored victories making working solar panels, cutting axles with the rotary tool, and mounting motors.

We had some nice moments of unanimous productivity and spontaneous helping today.
Every single person in the group managed to build a working solar panel--not bad.
